What is Platelet Rich Plasma and How Does it Work?

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy harnesses your body's natural healing potential to support tissue repair and regeneration. A small sample of your blood is processed in-office to concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors that help stimulate the body's healing response. When precisely injected into targeted areas, like the scalp or damaged tissue, PRP may promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and support healthy cell function. Because PRP is derived from your own blood, it is a natural treatment option used in a variety of regenerative medicine applications, including joint pain, hair restoration, and facial rejuvenation.
